Keyboard & command palette

The admin app is navigable without the mouse. A command palette reaches every page and action, two-key sequences jump between screens, and the lore list carries single-key shortcuts for the common curation moves.

The command palette

Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on macOS) from anywhere in the app to open the command palette. Start typing to filter across four groups:

  • Go to — every page in the app, mirroring the sidebar.
  • Record — actions that create something: a new lore entry, an invite, a team, a role, an API key.
  • Administer — deep links into the settings tabs (admin only).
  • Reference — the docs pages, so a guide is one search away.

Selecting a Record command routes to the surface that owns the action and opens the relevant dialog — “New lore entry” opens the entry editor on the lore list, and the settings actions land on the matching tab with its creation dialog ready. Nothing is created until you confirm.

Go-to navigation

For jumps you make often, press g and then a letter within a moment. The sequence is inert while you are typing in a field or while a dialog is open, so it never collides with the shortcuts below.

  • g then l — Your Lore
  • g then r — Review
  • g then i — Import
  • g then p — Pack
  • g then c — Connect
  • g then s — Settings

Lore list shortcuts

On the lore list, single keys act on the selected entry. They stay inert while a text field is focused or a dialog is open.

  • / — move the selection.
  • Enter or Space — expand the selected entry to read it.
  • e — edit the selected entry.
  • s — submit a draft for review, or withdraw a pending proposal back to draft.
  • a — archive the entry (with a confirmation step).
  • c — create a new entry.
  • / — focus the search box.
